Terms of sale

Last updated 31 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy a print from All Roads. By placing an order you agree to them. They don't take away any rights the law gives you as a consumer.

What you're buying

Each poster, framed print or canvas is made to order from a map we generate for the town you choose, with the colours and words you pick. The map is an artwork drawn from OpenStreetMap data: it shows the shape of a road network, not a guide for getting anywhere. Roads may be missing or out of date, and colours on paper can look slightly different from your screen.

Ordering and payment

Shipping, taxes and duties

Shipping is included in the price for most countries; for others a shipping charge is shown in your cart before you pay. Any sales tax or VAT we're required to collect is shown at checkout. If an order crosses a border, the destination country may charge import duties, which are the recipient's to pay. Delivery times and the full shipping policy are on Shipping & returns.

Changes and cancellations

Orders go to the printer within minutes of payment, so we can't change or cancel them once they're placed. Please check the town, the words, the size and the address before you pay.

Returns, damage and misprints

Because every print is made to order for you, we don't accept returns or exchanges and can't refund an order because you changed your mind. If you live in the EU or the UK, the 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply to goods made to your specifications. If your print arrives damaged or misprinted, we'll replace it free of charge: see how to report it.

The words on your print

You're responsible for the text you add. Don't use words you don't have the right to use, such as someone else's trademark.

Our designs and the map data

The map designs, layouts and this website belong to All Roads. Your print is for your own use: you may hang it, give it away or sell it second-hand, but not reproduce it. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Place names © GeoNames, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable when you ordered. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
